Our Story
It all started with one man. One man we like to call “Super Human, Mike Newman” Born completely blind, Mike always had a passion for cars, so much so, it was his life’s ambition to become a racing driver.
But, as you can imagine, this ambition came with many challenges. No blind person in history had ever achieved this goal.
However, just because he is disabled, doesn’t mean he’s UNABLE.
He knows the challenges blind and disabled people face and it is that, coupled with his love and exhilaration for driving, that lead him to believe he can help other disabled people by offering driving experiences to people just like him.
Mike worked tirelessly to live his dream, and through grit and determination to succeed, he worked alongside a local Jaguar dealership, to acquire a racing car that would enable him to do it.
Fast-forward over a decade, and Super Human, Mike Newman is a 9 times World Record Holder and currently the fastest blind man on land and water on the planet.
Activities such as corporate days where staff and/or clients are blindfolded whilst driving are not only fantastic fun, but also increase awareness of difficulties faced by disability, as well as encouraging essential team building skills, such as trust and communication.

2001 – Motorbike speed record: 89mph on an Aprilia bike
2003 – Car land speed record: 144mph in a Jaguar XJR
2005 – Car land speed record: 176mph in a BMW M5
2011 – Aerial record flying the most loop-de-loops
2013 – Car land speed record: 186mph in a Porsche GT2
2013 – Water speed record: 93mph in a Silverline Racing Boat
2014 – Car land speed record: 200mph in a Nissan GTR
2015 – Truck land speed record: 120mph in a Man Racing Truck
2017 - Water speed record: 102mph in a Silverline Racing Boat.
One thing you should know about Mike… He is an incredibly modest and kind man.
He knows the challenges blind and disabled people face and it is that, coupled with his love and exhilaration for driving, that lead him to believe he can help other disabled people by offering driving experiences to people just like him.
Let us explain exactly what we do…
We have had four cars specially designed and built – two racing cars and two all-terrain buggies.
They allow people of all ages with disabilities to enjoy the excitement and thrill of driving.
The vehicles, named after Mike’s guide dogs, are specially designed with dual controls and twin steering wheels and our buggies are equipped with hand controls. Our experiences take place nationwide at racing circuits, off road tracks or any venue with a large enough car park or area where a circuit can be created.
As well as offering driving experiences to people with disabilities, we’re all about promoting positive awareness around disability too.
We’ve created some unique experiences in the hope it opens people’s eyes to life without one of the senses.
And yes! You guessed it…we use blindfolds.
