What We Do

Our Governance

Speed Of Sight is a registered charity.

Our CEO and Operations Manager is Mke Newman and we have a board of trustees comprising of experts within motorsport, commerce, charities, engineering, finance, media, HR and diversity and inclusion.

Our Trustees:

Natalie Lewis (Our Chairperson)

Owns Dynamic HR Services delivering bespoke, commercially focused advice on staffing issues. Natalie has experience as a race track marshal and engages our race instructors.

Neil Cockroft

Neil is a mechanical and engineering tutor.  He helped build our first race car and advises on mechanical issues.

Christopher Walker

Chris is a production designer for film and television with over twenty years in the role and has successfully run the art departments on many of the successful shows we all know.  He is the media co-ordinator for Mike Newman's world records.

Claire Holden ACMA

Our treasurer, Claire works as a management accountant and volunteers at our fundraising activities and track events.

David Cockroft

David volunteers at our track events.

Alan Locke

Alan is a local businessman who is continually supporting us with facilities and vehicle maintenance.

Ryan Johnson

Assistant Director of Faculty - Engineering and Constructing at South Cheshire College. He and his students help to maintain our track and off-road cars.
